The Coscoroba swan is small and duck-like, length: 90-114 cm ( 36-45 inches), even resembling a domestic goose in the water. All white with only black tips to wings and bright pink/ red bill and legs. Orange eye.    

On the Falklands this is a visitor but breeding was documented in 2005 on Pebble Island, West Falklands, and at Bertha's Beach, East Falklands.

Coscoroba swans are native to mainland South America. It is is not common but breeds from Tierra del Fuego to central Argentina, moving north as far as Paraguay from March to September.
